The back of this top layer is cut longer to form a small train and the netting also helps to give it a more ball gown feel with the extra volume created

The dress is made from a layer of fine black silk netting that falls over an interior nude coloured lingerie weight stretch silk

These little silk jackets where among the most prized of the era and this one is a beautiful example of the period

The skirt has enough volume that you can also add a fuller skirt to get a real bell shape if you want it to have a more formal gown feel (Which is what I did for the photos of me in the dress so that you can see how full it can go)

along with exotic belts trimmed in coins
