The choice of fabric adds to the depth of color - its a lightweight wool with a bit of texture through the weave and it really holds that amazing red perfectly

I love the folds of fabric under the button that fall to look like a ribbon to the hem

It has all of the hallmarks of the Chanel suit - the chain at the inner hem

It closes at the front at the base of the plunge with two hook and eye and a slight overlap

This inner corset closes with hook and eye and the gown closes with a painted metal zipper

He has been noted as one of fashions 'great colorists with his colorful patterns making his 1970s Lanvin designs hugely desirable and influential.'
