There is extra fabric set into the back of the skirt and this little flare picks up on that same effect done on the back of the peplum

Despite its light weight the fabric still has enough structure to hold the cut and give it the wonderful shape that you see

The dress does up at the front with those silk covered buttons

The shoulders sit slightly off to create an almost portrait neckline and allow the collarbones to show
