This listing is for a Karatsu ware kogo made around 20 years ago by distinguished potter, Nakazato Taroemon XIII. It is made of high fired stoneware and moulded to resemble a yuki usagi, which is a hare made out of snow. Yuki usagi is an old tradition that goes back some 250 years, they were once made during snow viewing parties and enjoyed
