This piece dates to the 1870s 1890s. The brooch is done in the shape of a six pointed star, the points interspersed with natural teardrop shaped pearls. The center of the star is set with a circle of six round seed pearls, with a round faceted ruby in the center. The ruby is a real, mined from the ground stone. Based on the time period, the pearls are
