This piece was made in continental Europe and imported into England in 1904. It was almost certainly made in Germany, but perhaps the Netherlands. The full bodied handle is in the form of a man holding a pair of buckets, and his body is three dimensionally rendered and decorated on both the front and reverse. The bowl is cast and engraved with scroll and fruit
