Lighthouse at Cabrillo National Monument Size:18"x24" I headed to Sloans Lake

I headed to Sloans Lake for some afternoon light on a November afternoon

and on this evening I ran into the full moon rising over the mountains

With the stadium in lower downtown there are plenty of great views of it with the skyline of Denver and from inside you have a great vantage of the Rocky Mountains

Just under six months until the new season

Lighthouse at Cabrillo National Monument Size:18"x24" I headed to Sloans LakeThe old lighthouse in Cabrillo National Park sits on top of the park, however there is plenty of more to do from whale watching in the winter, checking out the tide pools on the west side of the park or checking out the skyline of San Diego. Due to the location of the park it closes at 5: 00 PM, which means the nice light you will find for photography is limited to a few months of the year.
