Surfite is surf board resin that builds up in manufacturing plants as surf boards are coated with the resin top coat that makes them colorful and waterproof. The buildup is eventually removed and either thrown out or as in this case gets up cycled into jewelry. Surfite often has a brighter look to it than fordite (it's automotive cousin) due to the resin being semi transparent as well as clear in areas
