Dried banana and sweet wheat both show on the palate with waves of vanilla pods

it has a rich

15% Merlot

orange blossom and honey yoghurt all flutter out of the glass

and this appears to be smack in the middle of its prime drinking window based on this bottle (which was more youthful than a bottle from my cellar)

2010 Château Moulin Saint-Georges, St Emilion, Bordeaux Unit of Measure:1 X 750ML Dried banana and sweet wheatPart of Alain Vauthiers stable of wines we taste at his most well known chteau, Ausone, and Moulin St Georges has been a favourite of the Berrys team for some time. The 2010 is certainly more structured than the 2009 and it shows a firm backbone of ripe tannins. The fruit is excellent and the length shows the overall quality, proving that this is the most serious Moulin St Georges that we have seen since the 2005, yet in a more classical mould. Nick
