It has five hinged sections and was made in China. There are three round portions of carved horn, that depict images of birds. This has very detailed filagree on it that is gorgeous and eye catching. The hinge is secure and marked that is what made in Chine and is silver. Please note there is a filagree flower missing from one side of the closure, depicted in the pictures above.
