Rare and interesting find- has added elastic on end of straps straps added but could be removed or new ribbon added -

Beautifully made - pleats on the skirt and it has a bow at the rear

Bought in the 40’s/50’s and has been in our hire stock since the 70’s

40’s black taffetta edged gown Fruit and birds designLong black 1940s wrap dress. Edged in colourful plaid taffetta. Very cute taffetta bow on pocket. These were originally worn as a dressing gown but definitely lovely on as a dress too . It has been in my hire stock for years ! Bought in New York. The dress fits our size 8 slim model very well. She is tall (5. 8) and 34 bust, Puff sleeved. Fastens from back to front with two two long straps. Needs a new hook to side which can be added easily to suit
