this has wonderful poise and balance yet the greatness of the wine underneath is clear

Intense and flavours presented with rounded creaminess, with lovely weight of tannins, although soft, allowing early drinking but also extended cellaring. Flavours present themselves slowly, in a layered but purposeful way, culminating in a long and delightful finish. Overall, it is fresh and superbly balanced.
