It is unique in that the buttoning has been altered, likely some time ago. Originally, the coat was double breasted with three rows of buttons, giving it a higher buttoning and a much more conventional style. The new two button setup shifts the focus to the velvet covered collar, making it larger in scale. The coat is made from a typical fabric
